Today, independent media are under constant pressure to diversify their revenue and build sustainable business models. For media in exile, this challenge is even greater: censorship, platform restrictions, and political pressure regularly disrupt existing income streams.
The program supports projects aimed at building long-term, scalable revenue streams or strengthening existing ones. We encourage creative approaches that can help media become more resilient and financially independent over time.
JX Fund invites independent exiled media from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Russia, and Syria to apply for financial support and expert consultations to develop innovative and sustainable revenue strategies. The aim of the project should be to establish new revenue streams for the media outlet or to strengthen existing ones. One-time income projects with no scalability strategy will not be supported.
